Bidvest acquires Roan Systems

We are excited to announce that Bidvest has acquired Roan Systems, as well as other companies in the Roan Group of Companies.

The JSE-listed Bidvest group is a leading international service, trading and distribution group which operates in areas of consumer, pharmaceutical and industrial products, financial services, freight management, office and print solutions, outsourced hard and soft services, travel services and automotive retailing.

The Bidvest Data, Print & Packaging division is a leading supplier of print, data, packaging and labelling solutions and the acquisition is in line with its drive to expand into the safety solutions space.

Colin Adendorff, CEO of the Bidvest Data, Print & Packaging division, said that Roan Systems presented an attractive investment option as it is a complementary fit to the services that Bidvest Mobility offers in the enterprise mobility space.

He added that Bidvest was attracted by Roan Systems’ solid reputation of 25 years, with five branches in the main regions and numerous satellite branches via their established Value-Added Partners across South Africa. In addition, the comprehensive on-site and remote site support services that Roan Active provides to customers were important considerations.
